About the role

What you'll do
- Review and approve business onboarding (KYB), including ownership and source-of-funds checks
- Run sanctions and PEP screening, and investigate alerts from transaction monitoring
- Prepare suspicious activity reports and keep case files audit-ready
- Help Product build compliance controls into the platform rather than around it
What you'll bring
- 2+ years in AML, KYC/KYB or transaction monitoring at a bank, fintech or payments company
- Working knowledge of FATF recommendations and Nigerian and/or Canadian AML requirements
- High attention to detail and confidence making — and documenting — judgement calls
Nice to have
