About the role
The FX desk is where Rackan started and it's still the heart of the business. You'll quote and execute currency trades for business clients, manage liquidity across our corridors, and make sure the rate we quote is the rate we honour.
What you'll do
- Quote and execute OTC FX trades for business clients across major and African currency pairs
- Manage intraday positions and liquidity with our banking and liquidity partners
- Settle trades accurately and on time, working closely with Operations
- Share market colour with clients and contribute to our FX insights
What you'll bring
- 3+ years on an FX or treasury desk at a bank, BDC, fintech or corporate treasury
- Sharp numeracy and calm decision-making when markets move quickly
- Strong understanding of settlement, counterparty and compliance risk
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with liquidity providers
- Experience with USD/NGN, GBP/NGN and CAD corridors
